Steps to reproduce

Version that has problem -
Edge 25.10586.0 EdgeHtml 13.10586

I am printing a web page (see file ‘edge browser.png’) that has a table which contains a block of divs with the background image as the first element, the names and barcode are elements with absolute position. The parent element that contains these elements is position relative.

The preview in window.print() does not seem to understand "position: absolute", therefore, the image is shown on the first page and the rest of the elements are shown in different pages. Other browsers (Firefox, chrome, safari, opera) including IE 8 through IE11 rendered no problem.

I have attached 3 screenshots. Please help.

    • We would need the content of the page you are trying to print. Otherwise we cannot reproduce the issue internally. Can you please upload the results of pressing F12, right clicking on the <html> element in the dom explorer tree, and click “Copy” in the context menu? I’ll try to take a look.
