Steps to reproduce

When typing in a status update in Facebook, Edge will sometimes squash all of the text together and then duplicate it. It will then not let you delete, so you have to post and then edit. This basically means I have to use IE to use Facebook but can switch to Edge for other things.
This is such a fundamental issue and effecting one of the most popular URLs, please can you get this sorted.

    • Today is July 25th, 2017, and there are still problems writing in fields by Edge. This is not related only to Facebook but to a lot of other sites containing entry field. If you press a character on your keyboard, it does not appear in entry field. You have to press it several times, with half a second of distance between strokes, before A SINGLE character appears in the entry field. So, tu write FRED you often have to type FFFFFRRRREEEDD. This problems is occurring to a lot of people around the world since 2015, and I suspect it is related to getting/loosing focus on entry fields.
