  • Today I found out why it was not reproducible for you with Internet Explorer 11.
It will only crash with IE11, if “Enable 64-bit processes for Enhanced protected Mode” (Internet Options -> Tab: Advanced -> Section: Security) was enabled.

  • Thank you for the report. We have investigated the issue and rooted it to an extremely deep nested markup that does crash rendering pipeline in 64-bit browsers. This affects 64-bit Chrome just the same as 64-bit Edge and doesn’t repro on 32-bit versions (you’ll need 32-bit Windows to try this). I’m resolving the bug as Won’t fix as there is really not much we’ll be able to do and given the fact you see same problem on 64-bit Chrome.

  • Info: with build 15014 it is working for me in Edge (Desktop and Notebook, both 64-bit).
    Microsoft Edge 39.15014.1000.0
    Microsoft EdgeHTML 15.15014
