Why do I have problems cutting and pasting from web to Edge?

Steps to reproduce

Why do I have problems cutting and pasting from web to edge? I don’t have these problems with IE11.

    • Thank you for your feedback. Could you please provide more details about the issue, such as where do you copy the context and where do you paste? What kind of context do you copy? Image, text, formatted text etc. Having said that I would like to also inform you that we have released the Win10 anniversary update this week which contains new features and bug fixes. I would recommend you to install and try to reproduce the issue. If you are still able to repro the issue, please provide more details such as some I have included above, this will help us investigate the issue.

      You can also use step recorder for clarifying the issue (steps below)

      To record and save steps on your computer

      1. Open Problem Steps Recorder by clicking the Start button, and then typing psr. In the list of results, click psr.
      2. Click Start Record. On your computer, go through the steps on your computer to reproduce the problem. You can pause the recording at any time, and then resume it later.
      3. Click Stop Record.
      4. In the Save As dialog box, type a name for the file, and then click Save (the file is saved with the .zip file name extension).
        To view the record of the steps you recorded, open the .zip file you just saved, and then double-click the file. The document will open in your browser.

    • I’m not reproducing as you requested. All you have to do is cut and paste from various websites to edge to reproduce this. Also, I’m not getting emails when you update the ticket.

      Thank you for providing this information about the issue. After thorough testing, we are unable to reproduce this problem in Edge with the information at hand. Please reopen this case when you can provide more details, such as screenshots or a sample website.

    • I’ll keep an out for pasting issues. I would you guys would respond faster so I could actually deal with the issues then. By the time you reply, we’ve had 10 or 15 patches which change things. This is like a moving target dealing with this browser.

This is like a moving target dealing with this browser. Also, until recently I don’t get your updates. I had to log into the tools to see updates which I found frustrating to deal with. Edge still has a long way to go to beat IE11 in usability.
