Steps to reproduce

When there is in a page some CSS with the property calc in a keyframe, the page will crash on Edge (13 & 14).

The browser itself won’t crash but the page won’t be displayed.

Here a simple jsfiddle to reproduce the issue :

The meaning code is the following :

@keyframes placeHolderShimmer {
  0% {
    background-position: -30rem 0;
  100% {
    background-position: calc(100% + 30rem) 0;

div {
  animation-duration: 1s;
  animation-fill-mode: forwards;
  animation-iteration-count: infinite;
  animation-name: placeHolderShimmer;
  animation-timing-function: linear;

Thank you,

Samuel Michaud

ps : by the way, you made an amazing job with Edge, keep going.
