Steps to reproduce

  1. Give focus to an input well beyond the viewport height
  2. Immediately call window.scrollTo(0,0)
  3. Note that the scrollTo method is ineffective

Presently impacts:

Upon visiting, focus is given to an input near the bottom of the page. Immediately after focus is given, an attempt is made by jQuery to scroll back to a yOffset of 0. This attempt fails in Microsoft Edge.

    • Have been looking to see if this kind of issue had been reported. I’m not a dev, but on a forum I use on if you click to read from the first new post in a thread, edge sometimes fails to load the page unless you remove the “&ScrollTo=X” from the end of the address and read from the top instead.
