Steps to reproduce

  1. Visit http://jsfiddle.net/L7qnc9Lr/2/
  2. Right-click and select “Open in new tab” for both links
  3. Check the URLs of both new tabs for consistency
  4. Note that one is encoded poorly, while the other is not

The relationship is yet unclear, but if there is no queryString on the end of the URL, the issue doesn’t reproduce.

  • Our apologies for not providing an update. This item has been fixed in current internal builds. The fix should roll out public with an update at some point in the future.  Unfortunately I do not have any estimate as to when this will be.

I have attached a screenshot showing the build number (in the lower right) and how it displays properly in this build for you.

Thank you for your feedback on this item; we hope to hear more feedback on Edge from you in the future.
