Steps to reproduce

View website at http://www.cs.tut.fi/~jkorpela/www/testel.html using mobile device. In my case I was using a Nokia Lumia 929 running Windows 10 version 1607, Microsoft Edge 38.14393.67.0, EdgeHTML 14.14393.

Many of the html elements are mis-scaled, in particular list elements but also quote elements, etc. These seem to default to displaying at a very small size. This may be related to Issue #8478829 - not sure.

    • Thank you for your feedback. This is a feature in Windows Mobile that is trying to provide better user experience by adjusting the text size, which in this case appears to be some of the elements are affected and some are not. Having said that, we are considering removal of this feature entirely.

In the meantime, you can use -ms-text-size-adjust property to opt-out this enhancement. Additionally, you can control your page’s scaling by using viewport metatag which will help you resolving your issue.

I will go ahead and close this bug as “By design” for now and we will continue working on features that will improve the quality of Edge and Windows mobile. Thank you again for your assistance in the investigation.

      Best regards,
      The MS Edge Team
