Steps to reproduce

  1. Navigate to

  2. Click on any article link (one of the tiles)

  3. Notice how the tab hangs for about 10 seconds before navigating


Comments and activity

  • Tje Edge DevTools “performance” tab doesn’t really help here.

    It just says that there are about 30 seconds of "HTML analysis", which is composed only of “Garbage Collection” (yeah, for 30 seconds).
    It doesn’t seem to be JavaScript-related

  • I’ve noticed page unloads tend to take a long time in this build of Edge. Same with iframes (so pages with lots of iframes take even longer to transition away from).
