Steps to reproduce

Problem

Edge throws a TypeMismatchError if the data argument contains Swedish characters, such as ä.

How to reproduce

Using Edge 38.

Open up DevTools and console and enter:

navigator.sendBeacon( "/", "ä" );

And you get TypeMismatchError.

However, if you use use ASCII:

navigator.sendBeacon( "/", “a” );

it returns true, as expected.
