Steps to reproduce
After the latest Windows upgrade, Edge no longer runs. Blue screen appears for a second, then Windows desktop reappears. No error message is displayed. IE 11 works fine.

Have exactly the same problem on an update to Win 10 Home 1703 . Support unable to fix problem after I spent two attempts talking to them IE and Chrome work fine.
Getting a message in IE to try Edge when it does not work is of no help unfortunately
