Steps to reproduce

I tried to reopen and add new information to the following but there’s a problem with this web site so the only way to do this is through a new bug.

https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/platform/issues/8626269/

The problem happens for me when I scroll the mouse and MSN.com or any other javascript heavy / ad driven page is loading. If the page is not done loading or the Ads are refreshing when I use the scroll wheel, the site freezes, locks the entire browser up and I have to recover the page. Happens on dozens of sites and most easily from the clickbait at the bottom of MSN.com. Those sites present about 10 ads per page which causes Edge to fail.

Additionally, I have error messages in my event log now as listed in the other bug that was closed as unreproducible. Clean install of Windows 10 Enterprise w\Anniversary Update taken from my MSDN subscription.

    • I am seeing the same issue since build 14393.321 it happens often that the web page needs to be recover in Microsoft edge. it happens on more then one site. I do not know what is causing this. some time scrolling cause the web page to fai,l other time using more then one page in the browser at same time, other time minimizing the browser and coming back to the web page full screen cause the same issue.

    • maybe look at what update as been made on build 14393.321 there was a flash update for the browser and some security patch for the browser.
