Steps to reproduce

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt732551(v=vs.85).aspx describes that storage limits are based on disk size. There should be some way to override this and allow for greater storage.

I.e. an app that works well in IE Windows 7 by storing approx 65MB data in indexedDb does not work on a Lumia 950 because the allowed amount of storage seems limited.

On Windows 7 a group policy is applied to set a greater limit for our internal applications. Found no way to do this in Windows 10.

A behavior like on iOS would be great where a Webpage that is limited in Safari becomes unlimited when started from a homescreen icon as “App”

    • Thank you for taking your time to provide us your
valuable feedback. This feedback falls under a feature or design change
request. Please login to our Feedback Hub app (Steps below) and feel free to
file your suggestion so others can review your suggestion and vote it up!

Use the Feedback Hub app to tell us which features you
love, which features you could do without, or when something could be better.

      1. Go to Start Windows Start icon, enter the phrase
Feedback Hub, then select Feedback Hub.
      1. See if someone else has given similar feedback by
entering the topic, such as Microsoft Calendar.
      1. If you find similar feedback, select it, add any
        details, then select Upvote.
      1. To narrow your search to a specific category, pick the
category that most closely matches your feedback (so it gets to the right
people quickly). For example, for feedback about the Calendar app, select Apps

      Calendar.

      1. If you don’t find any similar feedback, select Add new
feedback (In your case you select suggestion option), and choose a topic from
Select a category and then Select a subcategory.
      1. Enter your feedback (the more details the better!),
add a screenshot if you can, and you’re done.

      Best regards,
