Steps to reproduce

Fresh upgrade to from 1511 to 1607 - no loss
Have searched on the net, no answers other than how to re-import
As reported the staff have said the bookmarks/favorites have just vanished, nothing different has been done to the system and it is happening to more and more of our staff.

    • My favorites have to be re-imported every few days. Cannot find out why that is

    • Update 1607 appears to have run last night and upon turning on PC today, ALL Edge favorites and bars are gone and cannot be restored. No other changes were done besides the auto pushed update.

    • I can only occasionally save a page to Microsoft Edge favorites bar. When I imported the favorites from IE 11 the favorites bar would not import.

    • I have had this issue for some time now with me favorites going “Missing” on a random basis. While I do understand that from a technician standpoint it is easy to write it off as “Not reproducible” this is now acceptable for the user. I have lost my bookmarks 6 - 7 times since I have started using Edge. While I have the ability to recover most of them, the process is time consuming and extremely frustrating.

      Thank you for providing this information about the issue. After thorough testing, we are unable to reproduce this problem in Edge with the information at hand. Please update this case when you can provide more details, such as run dxdiag (Windows key + r and type dxdiag, enter, then click Save all Information) and attach the txt file.

      I am writing to you in this thread as well as another about this missing/disappearing favorites issue with Edge. I would love to send you a dxdiag file or any other information you need. Please explain how to attach a file in this thread. There is no option I can find here to attach a file. Thank you.
