Steps to reproduce

I used the Edge Extension Toolkit to convert an existing Chrome extension.

In the javascript code, I had a line that I had previously commented out:
// var url = ‘chrome-extension://’ + getMessage(‘@@extension_id’) + '/popup.html’;

The Toolkit found and marked that as an error.

    • Are you saying that even though it was commented out it was marked as an error? Or am I mistaken?

    • Yes, the line was commented out.

    • I didn’t see that when I tried that on my end - perhaps I retrieved a newer version that had corrected this?

      It might help if you can zip up the extension itself so I can take a closer look. Perhaps there is a dependency related to the file itself.
