Steps to reproduce

If you set contenteditable=true attribute to an inline element, like span it will become displayed as inline-block rather than an inline element.

What’s even more interesting is that if you check for computed styles of this element, IE will tell you that it’s still an inline element, even it’s not.

In other browsers like Fire Fox and Chrome the inline element flows correctly.

    • I’m curious to know the reason too, this bug makes it impossible to implement certain inline editing features in Edge (ofc IE too) which are possible in other browsers.
