      There’s an .assembly element that gets rotated in 3D (using CSS 3D transforms). This assembly has two 3D transformed .plane children.

      According to the spec, adding opacity: .5 on the .assembly element should force the used transform-value to flat, even if it was explicitly set it to preserve-3d, and, consequently, flatten the .plane children into the plane of their parent (the .assembly).

      This doesn’t happen in Edge.
