    • Ana Tudor let me know that there was a previous issue report for vmin here: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/platform/issues/5823264/

      However, the unexpected interaction with CSS Transitions was new, so when you close this one as a duplicate, be sure to add that detail (& the new test case) to #5823264.

      Another point to note, since it’s not obvious in the demo: the shape is still getting translated when the transform is translate(70vmin), just only a tiny amount. Change the value to confirm that it moves slightly.
