Steps to reproduce

  1. Create HTML page with markup from the attach (table has a width and one of THs has a width)
  2. Compare the result with other browsers (IE 11, Chrome, etc)
  3. OBSERVED: column size is greater than set for a th. EXPECTED: column size is equal to the one set for a th.

  • Thank you for your report. I duped your issue to another similar one which was already reported. The issue in your specific case is that we consider the first column to be unconstrained, so we distribute space there as well as the other three columns. You can work around the issue by adding

      <col style="width: 500px" />
