@font-face not working with Internet Explorer and HTTP-Header Pragma=no-cache

Steps to reproduce

Simple Repro

 

https://rajatj1/threshold/fontsPage/Pragma.html 

vs

http://rajatj1/threshold/fontsPage/Pragma.html 

 

Expected:

Internet Explorer should behave exactly the same way as if the site was loaded over http: Load font and render the site correctly.

Repro Steps:

  1. Open http://font-face.korbball-ruswil.ch/pragma/Pragma.html

  2. Now open SSL version https://font-face.korbball-ruswil.ch/pragma/Pragma.html [ignore the cert warning]

Video of the repro attached. The behavior is different if you first open SSL version of the site.

Create a website with a @font-face property in its css styles.

Deliver it through https.

Add the http header "pragma: no-cache".

Open the site with Internet Explorer.

Watch how IE tries to load the font and breaks up the connection while loading.

–> I would happily provide a living example website if you really want to fix the bug.
