Steps to reproduce

We have Edge Web Driver tasks running on a number of remote machines that we connect to using Remote Desktop Connection. We’ve found we start getting WEBDRIVER_ERRORs when we disconnect the remote desktop sessions. The error message is "A window size operation failed because the window is not currently available". If we leave the remote desktop sessions connected to the machines in question we do not get the error.

Note, we do not experience this issue with other browser web drivers.

    • Thank you for your feedback. We are having difficulties reproducing this issue in our environment OS build 14393.321 with Webdriver 10.0.14393.0 (https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/webdriver/)

Could you please provide us your OS build (winver.exe) and Webdriver version (Right-click and properties of MicrosoftWebDriver.exe under details tab) Could you please also provide us a sample that we can reproduce the issue. That will help us investigate the issue.

    • Hi,
I am having exactly the same issue. I am running Windows 10 build 14393.447 with Webdriver build 14393 and Edge 38.14393.0.0
Is there any workaround for this issue?
      Regards,
      Marc
