Steps to reproduce
Navigating to an invalid site (one that will 404 such as http://wikiopedia.org, for example) with an extension with a webNavigation.onBeforeRequest() listener will cause the details.url property in the callback to be set as “ms-appx-web:///assets/errorpages/dnserror.html#http://wikiopedia.org/” instead of simply “http://wikiopedia.org/” as it is in Chrome.
Update: upon further investigation, this only seems to occur when navigating to a fresh tab. Subsequent tries should cause the URL to be processed correctly.
