Steps to reproduce

I think i found a problem with YouTube vídeo resolution with Windows Rescaling set at 150%. Pay attention at the green arrow, shows :

Dimension : 1280x720 *1.5
Resolution : 1920x1080@25

So the vídeo is running at 1280x720p even if it is set at 1080p ???

If it is i think that Edge need to autodetect and force the vídeo run in the right resolution, in the case, 1080p. I use 150% scaling in Windows personalization settings and in Edge too.

    • Hello,

Thank you for providing this information about the issue. The physical size of the displayed image and it’s resolution are independent. In Edge 16199, the content remains 1080p, but the mapped image is in a slightly larger frame. Currently, we do not plan to release a fix for this problem. Please update this case if you can provide new information for us to consider.

      Best Wishes,
      The MS Edge Team
