Steps to reproduce

When a file is downloaded through Save As, typically when the filename already exists on disk the user expects the browser to automatically adjust the new filename to avoid conflicts. For example, if A.PDF exists on disk and the user chooses Save As on a link to another A.PDF, the dialog should offer A(1).PDF as the new filename. All other browsers do this, Edge does not.

We have MANY users complaining about this change to their workflow – they use several systems which present Excel reports as download links. It’s a major issue. Currently our network guys are pushing to switch them to Chrome.
