Steps to reproduce
On windows 10 anniversary with Edge. If the taskbar has been moved to the right of the screen, maximizing Edge will occupy all of the screen except the taskbar, as expected.
But after watching a video maximized to occupy the full screen and then returning to normal browsing, the edge browser is now maximized to occupy the full screen, and is thus under the taskbar at the right of the screen.
This happens notably when using Amazon video

Thanks for your feedback on Edge. I tested out this as you reported in a build higher than the one you reported: 10586.
I was not able to repro this - I would recommend upgrading to the latest build once you are able to (your company / organization might control updates) and try again with 14393 and higher. This is the current public stable build of Windows 10. In other words, this appears to be fixed in later versions of Edge and you should update when you can to see the fix.
If you still see the issue after upgrading please feel free to reopen this for investigation.
All the best,
The MS Edge Team
