Steps to reproduce

Install an extension for Microsoft Edge (such as Adblock, or Tampermonkey). Launch a session of Edge using the Microsoft WebDriver.

Almost every time that WebDriver loads an instance of Edge, the extensions get reset and or are disabled on startup.

    • Thanks for filing this bug! We currently have a bug where Store installed extensions will show up in WebDriver sessions, which should not be the case (I’ve duped this bug to that one). To avoid this issue while we work on a fix, I recommend you uninstall all extensions from the machine you want to use extensions + WebDriver on and follow this guide to side-load extensions via a WebDriver capabilities object: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/extensions/guides/packaging/creating-and-testing-extension-packages#automated-testing-with-webdriver.
