Steps to reproduce


Repro Steps:

Sample repro:

  1. Start Fiddler.
  2. Load ZLIBTest.farx (attached) into Fiddler’s AutoResponder.
  3. In any browser, visit

OBSERVE: IE shows “Page cannot be displayed.”
OBSERVE: All other browsers work properly.

Expected Results:

Internet Explorer should support the RFC-specified behavior for Content-Encoding: DEFLATE

    • Alternatively, try loading … if the image shows, the bug is fixed.

    • On Windows 10 Mobile Build 10.0.10586.420 this issue still appears. It will not open responses that are deflate RFC-specified encoded.
