Problem in entering credit card details in website payment forms

Steps to reproduce

When using Edge to make on-line purchases using a credit card, the text input box for card number entry does not allow me to input all of the credit card number characters resulting in inability to complete transaction. Credit card details entry for the same websites when using other browsers e.g. Chrome and Internet Explorer completes without any issues. Has anybody else experienced this and if so is there a fix?
