Office 365 Developer Program Update – New Developer Features

Suzanna Zhuang

One of the more common requests we hear from our developer community is that they’d like us to make it easier to get access to the developer tools they need.  We’ve listened to those requests and are pleased to announce a number of significant updates to the Office 365 Developer Program.

The first change you’ll see is a new Office 365 developer member dashboard.  Now, you can easily manage your user profile, access training videos, find content, and learn about developer events – all from a centralized location.

The second change you’ll find is a completely redesigned Office 365 developer tenant acquisition experience.  We’ve made the process easy and really fast – so fast that you’ll have an Office 365 developer tenant up and running in just a matter of minutes.

You’ll also find enhanced training materials that let you learn at your own pace with PowerPoint slides, demos, and hands-on labs, refreshed quarterly, covering Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Teams, Office Add-ins, SharePoint development, connectors and actionable messages.

Finally, we hope you’ll participate in the wide – and growing – range of Office 365 developer community events that we offer, including:

Community calls and events: Gatherings led by members of our Microsoft engineering and Office 365 MVP communities.

Hackathons: Both virtual and in-person hackathons, led by Microsoft and partners alike, with prizes and recognition for winners.

Global Office 365 Developer Bootcamps: Annual global Office 365 developer bootcamps held at locations around the world.

If you’re working with Office 365 and would like to access these developer benefits, join the Office 365 developer program today!
