Pinnable Taskpane in Outlook 2016

At Ignite this year, we announced the addition of a new feature for Outlook add-ins, the Pinnable Taskpane. Today we are excited to announce this feature is now officially available in the subscription version (C2R) of Outlook 2016 for Windows users!

Add-in Commands in OWA and Outlook on the Mac

Add-in commands have simplified the user interaction with add-ins while also making their presence more visible and engaging. We are pleased to announce the add-in commands feature is now available in Outlook on the Mac, through the Office Insiders program, and Outlook on the web.

Upcoming breaking changes – FindMeetingTimes API on Outlook BETA endpoint

We want to give you a heads up on some changes that are coming to the FindMeetingTimes API which has been available in preview in the Outlook set of APIs. We are making these changes to further improve the API based on feedback, and these changes will be widely deployed over the next few weeks. The updated API will continue to be available in /beta and subsequently in the /v2.0 endpoint as we make the feature generally available.

Actionable messages for connectors and email now in preview

We're excited to announce a preview of Actionable Messages which embed actions in both connectors and direct email messages and help users complete tasks without having to leave Outlook. For example, Connector users can merge a pull request in GitHub or change the due date for a card in Trello without switching to those services.
