Learn, Connect, Build.
Welcome to Microsoft Reactor - Sydney
Reactor Sydney is home to the latest in technical training as well as dynamic events that span the tech industry. Check out our calendar of events and join us to learn, connect, and innovate.
Engage with us. An event-based site designed to support training, hacking, tech meetups, and mixed reality events, Reactor Sydney is also home to the Microsoft for Startups program. Located on the 10th floor of the Sydney Startup Hub, the Reactor is staffed by technical luminaries and event planning experts.
To book space at Reactor Sydney, please populate the space request form Reactor Sydney and for questions contact Reactor Sydney email.
If the requested date or room is not available, the Reactor event planner will suggest alternative dates or spaces.
Upon approval, the Reactor event planner will send over a meeting invite to confirm the booking and schedule a call to discuss event logistics.
Reactor Sydney reception hours are 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. Lift access is available to Level 10 from the Ground Floor without an access card from 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM.
Events can go later than 5:30 PM and take place on weekends, by arrangement. Please discuss with your Reactor event planner.
Access to Reactor Sydney is granted only for the length of the event.
Badging and security
Reactor Sydney is in an access restricted location. This helps ensure the privacy of the Reactor spaces, partner confidentiality, IP, and other proprietary meeting content. Access to Reactor Sydney is granted only for the length of the event.
The list of internal Microsoft and external attendees is required at least 5 business days in advance to ensure that all Microsoft employees can receive badge access. Guest badges are printed ahead of time, and available for all external attendees upon check-in.
Guest badges are available from the Reactor event planner and staff in the Reactor space and not from the Microsoft building reception desk.
Additional questions about badging or security? Please discuss with your Reactor Sydney event planner. Thank you!
Parking and public transport
There is no parking available, so public transport is the best option. Reactor Sydney is located directly above Wynyard Train Station, and there is a bus stop directly across the street on York Street.
Food, wifi, etc.
You are welcome to bring in your own outside catering. Your Reactor event planner can refer you to local companies that you can coordinate with directly. The event owner is responsible for the catering order, payment, arrangements and liabilities. Please inform your Reactor event planner of all catering arrangements at least 1 week prior to your event so that they can make you aware of building requirements as necessary.
Wifi access details are available from the event staff at check-in. Any questions about wifi for your event, please discuss with your Reactor event planner.
