What is the session about?
Adding AI to a web application need not involve complexity, managing large datasets, or learning advanced math. With Lobe.ai, you can create an image recognition model by using a friendly UI, and import it into a web project. Join us as Jen Looper shows off Lobe.ai, a free service, and how to create a project. She'll walk through how to create an app which can act as a guide to make smart decisions on what to feed your pets, so even if Fido begs for that chocolate bar, you know not to allow even one taste!
Who is it aimed at?
This week's show introduces Lobe.ai, a graphical based tool for creating computer vision models. If you're interested in incorporating AI into your web applications this session is for you!

Christopher is a longtime web dev who turned a coding hobby into a career. Currently a Senior Cloud Advocate at Microsoft, he never lost the joy he felt in writing code and having the computer do what he asked and sharing that passion with others. These days he can be found at a keyboard writing TypeScript and Python. When not at a keyboard he can be found running long distances or relaxing with his wife and their four-legged child (an adorable dog) in Seattle.
Jen Looper, Senior Cloud Advocate, Microsoft
Jen Looper is a Cloud Developer Advocate Lead at Microsoft on the Academic Team with over 20 years' experience as a web and mobile developer. She's a multilingual multiculturalist (including a PhD in medieval French literature!) with a passion
for hardware hacking, mobile apps, Vue.js, machine learning and discovering new things every day. She is the founder and CEO of Front-End Foxes, an international nonprofit charity that promotes diversity in front-end developer communities. Visit Front-End
