This session is a part of Ten Tuesdays to Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) series.
This series will provide a foundational level knowledge on cloud concepts; core Azure services; security, privacy, compliance, and trust; and Azure pricing and support. By the end of the series you will have the confidence and skills for AZ900 exam.
What is the session about?
In this session we will discuss Azure storage as a core component that supports Compute and other services and capabilities. The base service for this session will be Azure Storage accounts. We will also discuss storage tiers and redundancy and the different types of storage. We will also talk through the various storage tools available including AZCopy and the Azure Storage Explorer.
Who is it aimed at?
The audience for this series is new to or beginning to learn about cloud computing and how Microsoft Azure provides that service.
Why should you attend?
If you are new to Azure and cloud concepts in general, we will breach that gap with you are give you a basic understanding of what cloud computing is.
