Kick it old school with Game Stack
This September, Microsoft Game Stack and retro-gaming powerhouse Antstream Arcade are teaming up for a throwback tournament – arcade style.
Featuring the 1982 classic BurgerTime, players get just one life – and one shot at glory. Running from September 2-8, the tournament features custom content and exclusive prizes. Players will have the chance to win rad Microsoft swag – and the winner an annual subscription to Antstream Arcade.
Before Antstream, you had to download an emulator – a legendary pain. Now, you can choose from over 1000 of your favorite retro titles and play instantly with less than a 50-millisecond delay.
Platform hopping in real-time is thanks to Microsoft Azure. Unlike streaming a movie, streaming games requires incredibly high speeds and serious computing power. Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure Event Hubs help Antstream scale with demand, ingest and store player data, and reach a growing global community of gamers. No emulator required. Read more about how Azure powers Antstream here.
Sign up for a free 10-day trial of Anstream Arcade and brush up on your burger flipping before September 2nd.
