Game Stack Live is coming up! Over the next six weeks, we're going to give you sneak peeks into some of the great talks we have lined up for the six tracks of our event. Game Stack Live is about helping game developers like you better build, run, and grow your titles.

So, let's dig in. Our first spotlight post features a talk from our Graphics track ​

Accelerating DirectX Innovation

The DirectX team has been working on a way to change the game for developers who want to be on the bleeding edge of graphics. We're finally ready to show the world how we're pushing the envelope with an exciting new update.

Q/A Interview with Jacques van Rhyn​

Q: Jacques, tell us about your role at Microsoft

A: My name is Jacques van Rhyn and I'm a Program Manager on the Graphics team at Microsoft.

Q: Who is your talk for?

A: This talk is oriented towards game developers and DirectX enthusiasts.

Q: What's something interesting we can expect to learn from your talk?

A: I can't get more specific right now but game devs who attend this session will learn more about an exciting new update to DirectX.​

Game Stack Live is open to game developers around the world. The 24 hour event kicks off in The Americas at 8:00am PDT (UTC-7) on April 20, moves to Asia Pacific at 8:00am JST (UTC+9) on April 21 and finishes up in Europe, Middle-East, Africa at 9:00am CEST (UTC+2) on April 21.
