Plenty of experienced developers don’t trust AI-generated code, and on a large codebase the agent has never understood they’re right not to.

The problem isn’t the model; it’s the missing context. Without a structured, current understanding of the codebase, agents hallucinate, duplicate logic that already exists, and introduce changes no one asked for.
