In this series, he will start with the very basics of creating your first “Hello world” program and work through to the more complex features using pointers, channels and go routines creating fun and reusable snippets of code along the way. This series is aimed at Coding beginners, professionals and anyone who wants to learn some Go!

What is the session about?
Transferring data between services is fundamental functionality of all applications. When dealing with JSON or XML in Go, there can be a few gotcha's. In this episode Liam will show you how to make RESTful calls and how to handle the responses using data types in Go.
