This session is a part of Ten Tuesdays to Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) series.

This series will provide a foundational level knowledge on cloud concepts; core Azure services; security, privacy, compliance, and trust; and Azure pricing and support. By the end of the series you will have the confidence and skills for AZ900 exam.

What is the session about?
In this session we will discuss some of the base Azure Networking and Compute components.
Networking is a core part of deployments in Azure, more so if there are IaaS components that might rely on custom connectivity. Once networks and connectivity is in place, one can start deploying the actual compute components that will run your various solutions. This includes Virtual Machines, Virtual Machine scale and availability sets. Some of the networking components in this session include Virtual Networks, Subnets, Peering, Azure DNS and Azure VPN services.

Who is it aimed at?
The audience for this series is new to or beginning to learn about cloud computing and how Microsoft Azure provides that service.

If you are new to Azure and cloud concepts in general, we will breach that gap with you are give you a basic understanding of what cloud computing is.
