There have been many ways to automate business processes or workflows from workflow management tools with user graphic interfaces like BPMN to workflow as code like Azure Durable Functions, Cadence, Temporal, or Dapr Workflow. In this presentation, we will walk through the benefits of workflow as code with Dapr Workflow, and the design of it to avoid race conditions, and increase the resilience of the application. In the end, we will have a short demo of how to author the Dapr Workflow runs in the stateful application.
