What is this session about?

Originating from Microsoft Research, Azure AutoML helps automating the time consuming and sometimes hard task of choosing features, benchmarking & tweaking different algorithms for your Machine Learning experiments. With both a no-code UI - and a code experience through the Python SDK - AutoML can help you get started quickly as well as customize your classification, regression and forecasting ML-problems.

In this session Robert Folkesson will give an introduction to both the no-code experience and the Python SDK usage, and share experience from a succesful customer project using Auto ML.

Who is it aimed at?

This six-week series provides an introductory overview of Microsoft AI and is perfect for those early in their developer career, this session is also interesting for more experienced developers, architects and data scientists who want to understand the auto-ML capabilities of Azure.

As the CTO of Active Solution Robert Folkesson is responsible for the overall technical and architectural strategy for the company. He is also responsible for constantly keeping the skills and knowledge up to date through cutting edge projects, training with the world’s best experts and knowledge sharing between colleagues and projects.
As a public speaker and a Microsoft Regional Director he does regular appearances at conferences like Developer Summit, TechDays and TechX - speaking about Power BI, cloud computing and architecture - among other things. Robert is also a hobby musician, whenever he finds the time he can be found noodling with old analog synthesizers and drum machines.
