With GitHub CodeSpaces and Dev Containers, creating purpose-built, portable development environments is easier than ever. In this session we'll take a look at creating CodeSpaces directly in GitHub, as well as building custom dev containers that can be run from GitHub or locally using Visual Studio Code.

Who should attend? Developers who are learning how to use containerization to increase their productivity.

Why should you attend? You will learn how to create development environments that can run anywhere, reducing ramp-up time for new developers or simply boosting your own productivity along with the consistency of your environment.
