In this session we will deep dive into how a Hub-and-Spoke network helps customers apply Zero Trust networking principles, and how it can be secured using Azure Firewall while following our best practices.
We will start by exploring the Hub-and-Spoke network topology (customer-managed), why it makes sense, and typical use cases, followed by a demo in the Azure portal, where we will go through every relevant step to build this scenario - from making sure the Virtual Network peering connections are properly configured, to managing Route Tables, and configuring the Azure Firewall.
Given the practical/demo-like nature of this session, attendees are recommended to have a basic to intermediate understanding of fundamental Azure Networking concepts, such as Virtual Networks, Virtual Network routing, and User-Defined Routes (UDRs).
