The Integration Blueprint: Choosing the Right Path in Microsoft Fabric (APAC)

10:00 em - 11:00 em (UTC)

In a world of multiple tools and endless data sources, how do you design the right integration strategy in Microsoft Fabric? Join us for a live demo-driven session that breaks down the real-world patterns, use cases, and best practices for landing, transforming, and orchestrating data in Microsoft Fabric. Whether you’re working with a Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Eventhouse, or SQL Database, this session gives you the playbook to select and combine the right tools for the job. We’ll walk through: • Landing data using Data Pipelines, OneLake shortcuts, and external connections • Transforming and cleaning data using Notebooks (Spark) for scale and flexibility • Business logic and last-mile transformation using Dataflows Gen2 • How to orchestrate it all using Fabric Data Pipelines for repeatable, maintainable workflows • When and why to land your data into Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, Eventhouses, or SQL endpoints You’ll walk away with: • A clear understanding of which tools to use when across the Fabric integration stack • A working knowledge of how to combine multiple integration techniques in one solution • Architecture patterns and decision criteria for building scalable data landing zones Live demos you can replicate to accelerate your own Fabric journey. 🌍 This series runs in two time zones for your convenience. Stop defining the same data twice: getting started with Fabric IQ

3:00 em - 4:00 em (UTC)

Every organisation has the same problem. Business terms are defined differently across teams, semantic models duplicate the same definitions, and your AI agents have no clue what the data actually means. The result is conflicting reports, governance headaches, and hours spent on things that should have been solved from the start. Fabric IQ is set to change this. With the Ontology item in Microsoft Fabric, the business gets a no-code approach to define entities, relationships, and rules in one single place. Once defined, these definitions are automatically picked up by AI agents, semantic models, and services across Fabric - and beyond, into AI Foundry and Work IQ. In this session, you will see how to set up your first Ontology from scratch or based on existing semantic models, link it to your data entities in Fabric - including time-series, bulk loaded, and geospatial data - and watch how AI agents use these definitions without extra configuration. No marketing fluff. Hands-on demos and practical guidance you can use the day you get back to the office.

Location-Based Insights in Microsoft Fabric for Spatial BI & Analytics

10:00 em - 11:00 em (UTC)

Data teams excel at answering what happened and when, but many important questions also depend on where. In this session, we'll explore how spatial thinking extends analytics workflows in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI using Esri-powered GeoAnalytics capabilities available across the Fabric ecosystem. You'll see how location context enriches existing datasets, surfaces patterns that are invisible in tables and standard charts, and supports better decisions across operations, risk, and customer analytics. We'll walk through practical scenarios that connect Fabric data with ArcGIS data and map visuals, all from a BI-first perspective. No GIS background required. If you already work in Fabric or Power BI, this session will show how to add location-based insight to your analytics workflow using the tools you already know.
