A modern data warehouse lets you bring together all your data at any scale easily, and means you can get insights through analytical dashboards, operational reports, or advanced analytics for all your users. In this workshop you will understand performance issues related to tables, understand table distribution design. We will optimize warehouse query in Azure Synapse Analytics.

The session will focus on Azure services and related products like Azure Synapse Analytics ,Polybase, Azure Synapse Serverless SQL pool & Azure Synapse Dedicated SQL pool. You will use indexes, materialized views & create statistics to improve query performance. Use read committed snapshot for data consistency & optimize common queries with result-set caching.
