About ARGOS
ARGOS was founded in 2020 after our founder David was called in to an organisation to review and uplift yet another cloud environment’s security posture after they had a security incident.
David saw a pattern that was repeating itself at almost every organisation he worked for, and that was a misinterpretation of basic cloud security principles, the Cloud Shared Responsibility Model, and the outcome that existing products delivered (and what outcome they did not deliver). After yet another avoidable breach that was traced back to a cloud misconfiguration David started to develop ARGOS.
ARGOS goes beyond simple compliance, checklist scans, and identifies cloud misconfigurations that expose organisations’ assets to the internet, over-privileged identities are detected, and everything is visually presented to the end user so that issues can be easily understood and fixed.

David is the founder of ARGOS and has held a Microsoft MVP award for many years including the prestigious MVP for Azure.
A regular speaker at international conferences, meetups, and user groups he combines his interest to travel the world with his passion to share IT stories with the community.
In addition to blogging about cloud, security, and automation for over a decade, he has also published online training courses on topics like cloud and DevOps, and regularly delivers in-person training courses across the world.
