In era of remote workplace, cyber-attack is a potential threat. To prevent cyber-attacks and protect against urgent threats, Microsoft collects billions of signals from the security ecosystem to create the contextual threat intelligence. This intelligence is built into Microsoft products like Office 365, Windows, and Azure, Defender, and Azure Sentinel.

In this session, we will follow a single signal through its entire journey starting from first detection in the wild till the rules that protect you. Then, we'll demonstrate you how to gain direct access to these rules and extend them for your own purposes.

Speaker Bio - Reenu Saluja is a subject matter expert in the evolving landscape of cloud computing and is a Senior Software Engineer with the Commercial Software Engineering (CSE) team at Microsoft. She has been an industry expert for over 15 years. She has been an avid teacher and sharer, speaking in many conferences such as GHCI 2021, OSI 2020, JSFOO, GIDS 2019, to name a few.
