I first knew I was a nerd when I realized I was the only girl in the comic book store. I loves\ stories, especially sci-fi or fantasy, that have strong female characters. Preferably those that fight with a sword. I received my degree in Journalism from USF and went to work in public relations which I despised almost immediately. It took me a while to find my calling but I embraced my nerd roots and embarked on a career in technology and have never looked back. I landed my dream job at Microsoft over ten years ago and have never been happier. I love helping my customers find ways to solve problems with technology. My current role is a Security TS in State and Local Government
