Challenge the idea of Death by PowerPoint and create attractive, engaging presentations using your own drawings. If you think you can’t draw, forget that. In this session Rebecca will step you through some presentation fundamentals, how to use the drawing feature in PowerPoint, and some basic drawing skills which anyone can use to enhance their presentations. You will come away from this session with creative inspiration, PowerPoint tips and practical steps to improve your sketching skills.

Who is it aimed at? Frequent presenters. Tablet users (stylus or touch). Sketchers and the sketch-curious.

Why should you attend? If you are someone who creates a lot of presentations and likes to make them visually engaging, this session for you. If you have a tablet and would like to make better use of the drawing features in PowerPoint, this is a great session for you. If you are curious about sketching and drawing, if you think you can’t draw, this session is definitely for you.

Rebecca is fascinated by what makes people and organisations tick. She's a specialises in the digital workplace, employee experience and change management. She has been working with intranets, online communities, internal communication, and the digital workplace since 2009 and prides herself on being able to bring business needs to the forefront of delivering technology. Over her career she has worked predominantly with Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Yammer, Teams and OneNote. In her spare time she is an avid sketchnoter, and recently commenced her second tertiary degree, a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Organisational Studies).
