What is the session about?
In this session we will explore Dev Box, the new service from Microsoft that promises to free up developers time and allow them to spend more of their time actually developing.
Dev Box gives developers access to a self-service portal where they can create, delete and recreate purpose built dev boxes based on whatever project they are currently working on.
We will cover how the service works and what value it can bring to developers, IT admins and team leads. As well as a bit of live demos of course.

Who is it aimed at?
Developers and those with supporting roles around developers, like IT admins and team leads.

Why should you attend?
Get to know why Dev Box is a thing.
In a world with local virtualization, Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop and other services providing much of the same feature set, what separates Dev Box from the pack?

Speaker Bio’s:

Petter Arneson, Microsoft MVP and Senior Consultant at Aztek, Norway
Petter’s background is in local infrastructure and data centre operations, but he started his transition to being a cloud dude years ago when he first laid eyes on Azure.
After working with Microsoft 365 for a few years, nowadays he spends all his time working with Azure architecture and design.
In his day job he fiddles with customers Azure setups and in his spare time he creates videos on Azure and PowerShell related topics for his YouTube channel.
