Jamil Ribeiro Cade, CEO & Founder, W3.Care
Doctor for 20 years, professor, doctor (PhD) in cardiology and health entrepreneur. He became a reference after participating, between 2014 and 2019, in the pioneer project for the care of acute infarction by telemedicine, with a 42% reduction in hospital mortality and with an economic impact on the SUS (reduction of USD 1 million). He founded W3.Care in 2018, after participating in Stanford Ignite Program, at Stanford University, having selected TeleTrauma®, a pioneering program for telemedicine care for trauma patients, which allows for the optimization of surgeries and cost reduction hospitals, making polytrauma care more agile and efficient. He has specialization from the University of São Paulo and InCor HC-FMUSP, acting as coordinator of Interventional Cardiology at Hospital Santa Marcelina and Hospital Carlos Chagas, is a professor of medicine at Faculdade Santa Marcelina and mentor of other startups in health. Author/co-author of 84 scientific papers, 10 in book chapters, with 177 citations.
